PEN Cluster Office in Faisalabad organized an incentive distribution ceremony on Saturday 27 Apr 2019 in Jaranwala.
The event was attended by Chairman of the Education Board, Private Schools Association, Education Department officials, local community members and PEN's Head Teachers from District Faisalabad.
Dr Najeeb Khan, PEN Chief Executive, was the chief guest of the event which was covered by local and national media.
Speaking at the event, Dr Najeeb appreciated local community members in Jaranwala for actively contributing to PEN schools. He also laid out his vision of expanding PEN's presence to Balochistan, KPK and AJ&K.
Mr Amir Qureshi, GM Operations, also addressed the gathering and appreciated the Cluster staff and Head Teachers for achieveing excellent results in the last Board exams.
Mr Zaid Bin Naeem, PEN Cluster Manager, gave a detailed presentation on PEN's interventions that have completely reformed Government schools. He thanked Mr Ali Bukhari, Project Manager, for supporting the field staff and addressing their problems.
The local community members present at the occasion pledged to construct a classroom and donate electric water coolers to PEN schools.
Th event was followed by lunch and widely covered in the media
