Pakistan has been struggling to provide sufficient PPE kits to doctors during the corona outbreak. Quetta is the capital of Baluchistan, Pakistan's largest but least-populated and poorest province. Doctors across Baluchistan went on strike this month to protest against lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) kits for the health workers on the front lines. Doctors said a lack of government preparedness has led to dangerous conditions for health workers at major hospitals in the province. To protect doctors and healthcare workers fighting Coronavirus, PEN sent protective medical gear to hospitals across Baluchistan. The items were sent in boxes displaying a hope after despair and many suns after darkness.
